I am searching too....for every 100 emails I get, maybe two are worth a response. Seriously, who doesn't like walks on the beach, sunsets and a fireplace? Yes, you love your kids. I get that. But most of the profiles I look at put me right to sleep. One person had a 12 paragraph essay on the brain disorder he has. Another one went on and on about his alcoholic ex-wife and their divorce. One man posted about 13 pictures of food. Yes, food. And a watermelon. The list goes on...anyway, I am thinking about writing a book about my experiences about this very subject. Also, I'm still single so if you have any friends.... :)

Today I observed a group of witnesses in my neighborhood. It was very clear that the sisters are taking the Spanx, spandex thing quite seriously. There's a disturbing amount of jiggling going on. I think you should ask Jah to clarify if he meant the kind of spandex that is used in the production of brassieres since it appears none of the sisters were sporting any.
They were also accompanied by a young man who was wearing baggy trousers. He is obviously listening to Jah's warning about staying away from homosexual tight pants, but unfortunately his tight pink underwear was visible. Can you also please ask Jah if this includes boot cut or relaxed fit fit trousers or are they fine? Lastly, could you ask for more light on Squarepants?

I did mention that I was not a JW..that I was raised in it though. I was very angry for many years about my situation but have finally come to a peaceful place. I do get frustrated when I read the literature at times. But I have learned to hold my tongue. If my family opens the discussion, then I am willing to talk about it. Otherwise, I remain silent. It's just better for me.

I wasn't looking where I put my feet, and I almost took the cart out! Anyway, I stopped and chatted with the people for a bit. Three women and a man -- an elder and his wife. They were very pleasant and seemed to know lots of my parents' and deceased grandmother's friends from the nearby hall. I made a joke that I had wished that I had a cart like that when I was a child going from door to door with my family.
I have read posts where people are unpleasant and shout out at these JWs but I really don't see a reason to be rude. I just stated that I had some different views than what the religion teaches but that I still had respect for their beliefs. I would like to think that I gave my own "witness."

numbers 5:11-31. this is a scripture that is as stupid as the "medieval witch trials"!.
it is also so degrading to women, and shows how the bible views them as mere property that can be treated as just possessions.. i would love to see how the wt tries to use this passage and make a modern day twist (as they try to do with so many other passages!).

So Moses Joe is saying that only if the woman is owned by another "owner" that they both must die? If the Bible wasn't anti-women why would they even have to say that? What if she wasn't "owned" by another? Would she just die???
